About Us

BLESS Preschool has been a part of the Sherwood Park community for more than 13 years. We believe it is important for children to learn about and feel comfortable being part of a community.

What We Believe

We at BLESS believe that each child is created by God in His image, with a unique personality and special gifts. It is our desire to provide a preschool program that will meet the children’s spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and academic needs. Nurturing the children in these areas is important for future growth and development in all aspects of their lives.

Our Environment

The classroom for BLESS Preschool is located comfortably inside of Bethel Lutheran Church, just minutes off of Baseline road. From the bright and playful classroom centres, to the large fully-equipped gym, all the way to the spacious outdoor field, Bethel’s facilities provide a safe and nurturing environment during all seasons making it perfect for on-site field trips, themed events and daily physical literacy.

Enriching children’s lives through activities and educational play

Our Program

We strive to balance our program with both child and teacher-lead activities that are developmentally appropriate and suited to the diverse needs of all children in the classroom. Our theme-based units have been carefully crafted to stimulate your child’s natural curiosity and love for exploring and learning new ideas and concepts.

Our Teachers

Heather and Cheryl both live in Sherwood Park and are involved in the community. We are blessed to have them as our dynamic teaching team. Their knowledge of curriculum planning is the strong base for educational programming. Their partnership creates a supportive classroom, smooth transitions and focused lessons. These caring ladies look forward to welcoming your child to the BLESS family!
